When I first started taking photographs I used to enjoy making my own black and white prints, spending endless hours in the darkroom watching my prints appear in the developer dish and getting each one exactly as I wanted it. Since the mid-nineties I have focussed my attention on colour landscape for my fine art work and at the time this meant a combination of Fuji Velvia film and reliance on E6 labs and cibachrome printers to produce my prints.
Fortunately today, with digital cameras and inkjet printers it is possible for me to produce my own archival quality fine art colour prints giving me the flexibility and full artistic control over my colour landscape work that I had in the early days of my photography in the black and white darkroom.
HOW I MAKE MY PRINTS TODAY
I make each of my prints personally using the Ultrachrome K3 inkset on my own Epson 3800 printer. I use a beautiful high white cotton rag paper which I selected as it seems to give my work an extra presence compared with other cotton rag papers which can look rather too yellow to my taste. This combination of inkset and paper gives excellent archival results which should last a lifetime. I make my prints with a border and sign the print itself. I then have this professionally mounted in conservation mountboard, with a backing board, by a local framer.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
I hope that you will be delighted with the quality of your print. If you've seen my work at an exhibition then you'll know already just how good a finished piece looks hanging on the wall, but obviously I realise how difficult it is to judge just looking at a small image on a computer screen, so if you're not happy with your print for any reason you're free to return it for a full refund.
