I have always been attracted to shooting moving water subjects, especially waterfalls, and experimenting with shutter speeds to achieve the optimum blur to convey the idea of the movement in my still image...

The advent of digital photography has opened up a whole new world of experimentation and in this series of images I have been exploring the effect of combining camera movement with the movement of the water...

By moving the camera in a number of different ways during the exposure - with the direction of the water flow, perpendicular to the flow or in a circle around it - a variety of different abstract effects can be achieved.

Moving Water is a series of six limited edition prints by Mark Sunderland
Edition size: 25 prints

Each print is produced personally by Mark on A3+ size 315gsm Photo Smooth High White Cotton paper sourced direct from the James Cropper paper mill in Kendal, Cumbria.
The prints are professionally double mounted in acid-free white core mount board.

Available mounted only or in a hand-made oak frame.
Mounted size approx 64x52cm.

Note that the price of limited edition prints increases as the edition sells.
Print 1 in each edition is retained and will be made available at a later date.
